Q:What driving features are used to calculate my Safe Driver Discount for Young Driver Insurance?
A:The Safer Driving Discount is calculated via the data supplied by Smartbox. We measure Safe Driving Parameters: your speed, how you take corners, how hard you brake and accelerate and the time of day you drive. Then every 90 days we will tell you if you are likely to receive a discount.
You’ll be able to see how well you are doing by accessing your dashboad which will give you an indication on how well you are driving against the 4 Safe Driving Parameters and whether you need to take any action.
