What cover do I get with residential property insurance?

A:

Our core cover for residential property owners covers:    

  • Property owners liability - up to £5 million indemnity
  • Landlords' contents - contents of communal areas - up to £10,000 covering fixtures, fittings and furnishings
  • Loss of rent or alternative accommodation allowance - up to 20% of the buildings sum insured. This can be increased to 30% if requested
  • Glass - replacement of all internal and external fixed glass
  • Property loss or damage - available with or without accidental damage cover for buildings and contents, including damage to interior decoration
